Coins above the Eyes
On both eyes traces of coins have been discovered: One is known as Lituus Lepton, the other as Joulia Lepton. Both have been coinaged by Pontius Pilate in the 16th year of his reign (in the year 29). Above the right eye the letters UCAI can be identified (TIBERIOU CAISAROS).
